Core Strength Classes

Sam has been teaching core strength classes for 9 years.  Classes start at Greenville Fitness & Rehab on Wednesday January 2nd.

“Core” is a popular buzzword. Most people think that it only refers to your abdominals, but it’s actually much more than your abs. Core refers to the midsection of the body between the hips and shoulders, and it’s the basis for all movement.

We combine pilates, yoga, and gymnastic training moves, using balls, bands and body weight to strengthen and stretch core muscles, enabling you to extend yourself in all fields of activities.  With consistent attendance you’ll find yourself able to do things you may not have been able to do before.  Physical activity will seem easier and more sustainable.  You will minimize back pain, joint pain and muscle strains, feel good and most importantly, have fun while getting strong!

These classes are physically demanding, and challenging for all levels of participants.  No co-ordination is needed. Men and women are welcome. Bring your energy, a towel, and some water. See you here!

Class Times :
Monday 12:15pm      All levels with focus on beginners **
Monday 6:15pm       Intermediate / Advanced
Wednesday 12:15pm All levels with focus on beginners **
Wednesday 6:15pm  Intermediate / Advanced

Cost is $10 per class.  You can purchase a multi-visit pass of 12 classes for $100.

** Note!  Please don’t let the description “beginner” or “advanced” stop you from attending a class.  There are many options for some moves, and you will still get a good workout regardless of your level.
