View from the trail

I love this time of the year.  It’s warm, some days even hot, and the days are so long, you can cram enough in to make yourself really tired!  Greenville is a great place to live if you like doing things outside.  Even during our winters there are still plenty of things to do to keep active.

One of my favorite rides to do when I’m a bit short on time is to leave Greenville Fitness, and head north up the trail all the way to Sunrift Adventures.  There, I turn around and head down the trail all the way through Falls park to the tree with the big roots, and then I turn around and head back to GFR.

My goal on this ride is to try and notice as much wildlife as possible.  Not a ride goes by when I don’t see an assortment of snakes, turtles (or tortoises – I’m never sure which), birds, chipmunks, squirrels, worms, dogs (and sometimes stray kittens, which I want to stuff in my pocket and take home).  It’s awesome!  Before I know it, I’ve ridden for an hour or a little over, and the time has just flown by.  I get back to GFR, refreshed and ready to see a few more clients!
